Objectives
To equip managers, engineers and maintenance staff with the knowledge and understanding to implement and monitor systems of control for Legionella within hot/cold water services and spa baths.
Course Content
The following topics are covered in the course syllabus:
- Introduction to Legionella
- Case studies
- Legislation and risk assessment
- The Approved Code of Practice (ACoP)
- Control measures
- Monitoring
- Emergency procedures
Course Structure
The course is programmed for a total of two and a half hours and includes lectures enhanced by visual material. Delegates are encouraged to actively participate in discussion sessions and group activities.
Certification
There is no examination. Course delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
