Who are they?

Pickl lives by their fresh fast food concept, producing burgers that are simple, but not basic. With multiple locations in the Middle East, they’re on a mission to change the way people see fast food, by only making the freshest burgers with the best ingredients, cooked to order.

We spoke to Quality Assurance Manager Madonna Camoens, to see how bringing Food Alert on board changed the way Pickl operates.

Pickl’s pain points

Before Food Alert, Pickl were using a different digital operations software which helped them drive brand consistency, but it didn’t quite give them the complete operational ecosystem they were looking for to meet all their business needs. They struggled with integrity in data and training and competency within staff to ensure food safety and hygiene is understood and practiced at all times and all levels.

Food Alert’s services allowed Pickl to have systems that scale with the business, providing them with enhanced analytics and data from across their 20 locations, as well as create a culture that places importance on food safety and hygiene within staff teams.

“Food Alert software means we can manage venue compliance from one central place, and the ability to report problems in the supply chain makes it easy to track resolutions. If we didn’t have Food Alert’s services, we would face challenges in ensuring critical food safety procedures are executed correctly in each location.”

“Incredible right from contract initiation”

When we asked if she would recommend Food Alert, Madonna answered: “Absolutely; I highly recommend the system to any business looking to implement an online digital platform. The support provided was incredible right from contract initiation to system setup, team training and post set-up review for ongoing changes.”
