Food Alert is unveiling the only fully integrated digital food safety and health & safety solution, that is available online and in an app format, at this year’s Restaurant & Bar Tech Live Show at Excel, London on 19 and 20 November.

ALERT65 replaces Food Alert’s existing solution FACT that was first launched in 2009. The new platform has been upgraded to provide a fully customisable, ‘plug and play’ safety compliance programme that allows operators to effectively and efficiently manage safety procedures and reduce risk exposure.

Using colourful graphics and easy to use navigation, ALERT65 has been designed to give businesses the power to tackle complex compliance issues, whilst saving time and money by automating manual tasks.

Highly configurable, ALERT65 has also been developed to seamlessly connect with other third-party software providers – such as HR, pest control and training – to give a complete picture of the food safety and health & safety journey. Current partners include Fourth, Pest Pulse, Flow Hospitality and Remote Temperature Monitoring.

Food Alert’s Chief Technology Officer, Adnan Saeed, said: “Food safety and health & safety regulation is becoming ever more complex and demanding for operators, so we have developed Alert65 to make the process of compliance as simple as possible for single site or multi-site operators.

“Through automation, the paper trail is stored centrally in a digital format, so all compliance information and policy documentation can be easily accessed from across multiple locations at the touch of a button or swipe of the finger. The fact that it is available as an app on smartphone or tablet also gives visibility on how an outlet is performing at any time of day or night.”

The system gives a complete solution including real time reporting with simple checklists for employees to follow, centralised safety and policy document access points, task tracker and training management programme.

ALERT65 has already got over 25,000 locations signed up, including Fuller’s, PizzaExpress, Wasabi and Burger King.

“We have spent a great deal of time working with our clients to deliver a solution that has rich functionality for both food safety and health & safety, whether its allergen or food complaint management or comprehensive audits and quality assurance. Initial feedback for ALERT65 has been excellent and we look forward to revealing it officially at Restaurant Bar & Tech Live,” concluded Adnan.

Food Alert will be appearing on stand H158 at Restaurant Bar & Tech Live.
