Food Alert received the award for Best Premium Centre 2015 from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in a ceremony that took place yesterday, 14th July, at the House of Lords, London.

The awards, which are judged by a panel of industry experts including CIEH president Tim Everett and chief executive Graham Jukes, recognise good practice and high achievement in environmental health.

In a letter sent to Food Alert ahead of the ceremony, Jukes praised Food Alert for its “continued dedication and commitment to delivering the best possible CIEH learning experience for its clients”.

He added, “They continue to champion effective regulated and accredited food hygiene and health & safety training”.

Food Alert is the largest provider of CIEH accredited training courses in the UK. Since 1990 it has delivered in-person training to more than 20,000 people. The company is also the largest provider of online CIEH courses, since starting in 2010.

David Bashford, Managing Director of Client Services at Food Alert, said:

“We are thrilled and honoured to receive this award from the CIEH in recognition of the quality of the training services we offer to our clients across the UK. Our training team works hard to ensure we provide exceptional service, from online booking through to course delivery. They are delighted to be rewarded in this way.”

Lexington Catering, a London-based contract caterer, has been working with Food Alert since 2007. Company director Katharine Lewis said, “Food Alert has supplied us with consistent and thorough training, both online and in the classroom. Year on year, they continue to expand their areas of expertise, offering us invaluable and proficient guidance on work safety and hygiene.
