Food Alert, the integrated online safety management system specialist, is helping its customers combat the risk of pest activity as the cold weather sets in by partnering with Pest Pulse, the world’s first tech-led pest control company. Through integrating Pest Pulse technology – which uses smart device operated, eco-friendly traps – with Food Alert’s cloud-based safety compliance software FACT, restaurants, hotels and pubs will be able to monitor premises around the clock.

Food Alert’s managing director, David Bashford, said: “We are always looking to extend our extensive list of integrated third-party providers and are delighted to add Pest Pulse as a partner. Feedback from customers has exceeded expectations as we can now offer them a complete all in one solution for their food hygiene and health & safety needs, with pest control being a key part of this.”

By connecting Pest Pulse with FACT, operators can access in-depth, real-time information on pest activity across all sites with trend, insight and holistic analysis and multi-site risk management from one central dashboard, 24 hours a day. As soon as activity is detected, expert technicians are deployed to the premises to resolve the issue, removing the need for expensive call outs. Pest Pulse co-founder, Tim O’Toole, added: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer our technology driven pest control service to Food Alert’s customers. Integration has been seamless and the quality of the data available through the FACT application is second to none.”
