The World Travel Awards serves to ‘acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.’ This year we have seen a number of our clients nominated for this prestigious award which will honour its winners with a hallmark of quality.
Established in 1993, this year the awards will celebrate their 21st anniversary. Last year, over 500, 000 votes were cast by travel professionals and high-end tourism consumers. Votes by such individuals are counted as 2 votes, whereas votes cast by non-industry voters count as one vote. Hundreds of entrants were whittled down to the few who have proceeded to the voting stage of the annual event, demonstrating the exclusivity of being nominated.
